Joanna Meriwether Ortte MS
Ms. Ortte completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1984, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders. She received her Master of Science (M.S.) in Audiology in 1987 from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. She married in 1987 and moved to Fort Walton Beach, Florida, where she completed her externship at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. Over the years, she has worked as an Educational Audiologist at the University of Texas at Dallas Callier Center, and in Monroe, Louisiana, providing diagnostic testing for various ENT clinics. Ms. Ortte is currently working as an Audiology Technician in New Iberia, focusing on diagnostic testing for adults and children.
In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, visiting family in Lafayette and New Orleans, and holding her new grandbaby.
